MSc graduate from the University of Oslo, Department of Informatics. Many years of experience developing infrastructure, web and integration applications, both as a consultant and as a full timer.

I've been coaching agile methods on the side throughout my career. I have contributed back to the community by organizing meetups and podcasting, and I still blog on occasion.

As for my ways of working, I'm a practitioner of agile methods: I'm a fan of, and well-versed in Scrum, Lean and DevOps literature.

I've spent countless hours practicing test-driven development, pair-programming as well as async code-review. I've worked a fair bit on continuous integration, build infrastructure and open-source software. I'm also familiar with classic software engineering, design patterns and architecture.

As a software engineer, I've developed everything from content-management systems to enterprise integration systems, rich web applications, e-commerce platforms and embedded software.

In later years, I've ventured into coaching and organizational development, but I actively swing between roles to keep my tech and other skills at a high level.
